Job summary

Wasabi Technologies seeks a Principal Cloud Support Engineer to be the top technical resource in our Support team, leading escalations and shaping training while advising enterprise customers and partners. This role emphasizes cloud storage, networking, and distributed systems expertise.

You will collaborate with Engineering to improve support readiness and service quality. Based in Boston, MA, Wasabi supports remote candidates nationwide; travel is not regularly required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud support or infrastructure roles.
• Expert-level experience with AWS S3 or compatible object storage.
• Bachelor's degree in Network/System/Computer Science; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the highest escalation point for the Technical/Cloud Support team for complex customer issues.
• Lead root cause investigations and collaborate with Engineering to resolve protocol or interoperability challenges.
• Own and deliver the technical training program for Support, including onboarding and advanced troubleshooting.
• Provide technical advisory and white-glove support to Wasabi's enterprise customers and partners.
• Oversee escalation workflows and ensure consistent handling of high-severity incidents.
• Engage with Wasabi Sales, Product, and Development engineers to improve services and customer experience.
• Mentor and coach Engineers to elevate team capabilities.
• Drive improvements in supportability, diagnostics, tooling, automation and internal processes.
• Create and maintain advanced troubleshooting guides and internal knowledge documentation.
