Cadence Design Systems in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Technical Business Development / Cloud Pre-sales / Product Marketing Director for North America. You will lead go-to-market efforts, craft cloud strategies for EDA workflows, and collaborate across product, sales, IT, and R&D.

You will drive cloud-based products and roadmaps, evangelize AI-driven EDA tools, and build a scalable cloud business with a startup-like spirit.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical sales/pre-sales/application engineering/technical product management in Systems/PLM/EDA domains.
• Strong knowledge of computational mechanics tools in the EDA and/or PLM domains.
• 10+ years of experience in go-to-market planning for new technologies and disruptive SaaS platform products.
• Experience developing business models for cloud computing in engineering domains.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop Cadence Cloud business by supporting customer engagements and building a pipeline for cloud opportunities with field, sales, IT and R&D teams.
• Drive pre-sales/technical sales engagements for all cloud opportunities.
• Guide the development of next-gen cloud capabilities for EDA workflows with product management skills.
• Drive cloud-based products, roadmaps and business models.
• Evangelize AI-driven EDA tools leveraging hands-on experience with EDA flows for chip design.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to improve customer interactions and pre-sales support.
