Job summary

Cadence is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to support secure, cloud-based silicon design environments used by external customers for mission-critical EDA and HPC workloads. You will focus on reliability, rapid issue resolution, and proactive platform improvements through automation and agentic AI.

The role involves supporting ITAR/CUI data in high-security environments and delivering exceptional customer experiences with professionalism and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting HPC or large-scale compute environments.
• Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, Perl, or other automation languages.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Familiarity with license management systems such as FlexNet/FLEXlm.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical support contact for external customers using secure cloud-based silicon design platforms.
• Deliver timely, responsive, high-quality support and clear communications to customers.
• Minimize downtime and exceed service expectations to build trust and satisfaction.
• Communicate technical issues and resolutions to customers with varying expertise.
• Maintain and improve platforms with automation and AI to increase MTTR efficiency.
