Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a System Development Engineer for the RAPP team to operate Route 53 and Perimeter Protection in a secure, scalable cloud environment. You will build software and automation to improve availability and reduce manual toil.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI with polygraph and have Linux, networking, and scripting experience. You’ll break down projects, define milestones, monitor for defects, and collaborate with engineers to deliver reliable services for government

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required or CND/GSEC certification.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Experience with automation tools for building, testing, releasing, or monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Route 53 and Perimeter Protection services meet 100% uptime SLA through software deployment and automation.
• Develop software to automate management and scaling of services to reduce manual interventions.
