Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks engineers to implement and operate large-scale cloud infrastructure for U.S. Government agencies.

You will work on the RAPP ADC team, focusing on operational excellence, automation, and scalable services within Route 53 and Perimeter Protection, while supporting customers with high-availability cloud solutions. Qualifications

• Experience programming with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Route 53 and Perimeter Protection services deliver 100% uptime SLA via automation and IaC.
• Troubleshoot complex system operations and drive operational excellence.
• Monitor, manage and scale systems; identify and mitigate defects and systemic patterns.
• Work on air-gapped regions and build software-based solutions to improve management of our systems.
