Job summary

ModMed, headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a high-performing team. You will ensure a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure, enabling developers to move fast while building innovative healthcare solutions.

You will lead automation, observability, and performance initiatives across a cloud-native environment, shaping the future of ModMed’s platform. Strong emphasis on reliability, collaboration, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud/SRE (or equivalent).
• Proficiency with AWS including security, performance, and cost management.
• Experience with DataDog, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Strong networking, cloud security, and CI/CD best practices.
• Missional mindset with ability to mentor engineers and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for security, performance, scalability, and cost.
• Enhance DataDog monitoring and observability across environments.
• Provide self-service access via GitOps, APIs, UIs, and automation tools.
• Lead Kubernetes initiatives to improve efficiency and resilience.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS services.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams.
