ModMed is seeking a driven Site Reliability Engineer to join our high-performing, collaborative team. You’ll ensure our cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and cost-efficient, enabling developers to move fast while delivering modern healthcare IT solutions.

You’ll lead automation, observability, and performance initiatives across a dynamic environment, mentoring engineers and partnering with product and operations to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud/Site Reliability Engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, including security, performance tuning, and cost management.

Responsabilités

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer and optimize AWS environments for security, performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Monitoring & Observability: Enhance DataDog monitoring to proactively detect and resolve issues.
• Developer Empowerment: Standardize infrastructure and provide self-service access through GitOps, APIs, UIs, and other automation tools.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Lead Kubernetes initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
• Performance Tuning & Cost Optimization: Continuously improve cloud performance and reduce costs through smart resource management.
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues across AWS environments.
• Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for cloud security and regulatory compliance.
• CI/CD Optimization: Improve deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS services for fast and reliable releases.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Guide junior engineers, foster learning, and promote a culture of operational excellence.
• Cross-Functional Partnerships: Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver AWS-based solutions that meet business objectives.
