ModMed seeks a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our high‑performing team at the Boca Raton HQ. You will streamline development operations, automate workflows, and improve deployment reliability to empower developers delivering healthcare software faster.

This hands‑on role focuses on modernizing cloud infrastructure, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation, shaping the future of our cloud‑native platform. Based at our FL HQ, with hybrid options where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, including security, performance tuning, and cost management.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, DataDog, and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, CI/CD best practices, and Windows Server/IIS administration.
• Leadership: able to mentor engineers and lead DevOps initiatives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize AWS/Azure environments for security, performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS services for reliable deployments.
• Implement and maintain Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools for repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
• Leverage DataDog for monitoring, observability, and issue resolution.
• Manage Kubernetes and container workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Continuously tune cloud resources for performance and cost optimization.
• Enable self-service infrastructure for developers via GitOps, APIs, UIs, and tooling.
• Rapidly resolve incidents across cloud environments and ensure security compliance.
