ModMed is seeking a driven Site Reliability Engineer to join our high-performing team. You’ll lead automation, observability, and performance initiatives across a dynamic healthcare IT environment, ensuring secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that supports rapid development and innovative healthcare solutions.

In this hands-on role, you will mentor engineers, drive reliability initiatives, and collaborate with product and operations to deliver robust AWS-based solutions while maintaining cost

Formación

• 5+ years in Cloud/SRE.
• Deep hands-on AWS experience including security, performance, and cost management.
• Proficiency with DataDog, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins; scripting (Python, Bash).
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud security, CI/CD best practices, Windows Server/IIS.
• Leadership to mentor engineers and drive initiatives.
• Excellent communication to explain concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for reliability, automation, and scalable cloud-native systems.

Responsabilidades

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer and optimize AWS environments for security, performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Monitoring & Observability: Enhance DataDog monitoring to proactively detect and resolve issues.
• Developer Empowerment: Standardize infrastructure and provide self-service access through GitOps, APIs, UIs, and other automation tools.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Lead Kubernetes initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
• Performance Tuning & Cost Optimization: Improve cloud performance and reduce costs through intelligent resource management.
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues across AWS environments.
• Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for cloud security and regulatory compliance.
• CI/CD Optimization: Improve deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS services.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Guide junior engineers and promote operational excellence.
• Cross-Functional Partnerships: Work with product, engineering, and operations to deliver AWS-based solutions.
