Qualifications

• Alternative: 7 years of experience in the offered role or related occupation.
• 5 years of experience in: reading and debugging code in Java, C++, Python, Shell, Go, JavaScript; troubleshooting across hardware, software and applications via root cause analysis; debugging workloads across large-scale, multi-node environments; cloud infrastructure such as GCP/AWS/Azure; triaging issues to advocate for customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues for customers on Google Cloud Platform using debugging, system administration, and data analysis to determine root causes and resolutions.
• Serve as subject matter expert for customers and internal teams, advising on best practices and collaborating to resolve deployment obstacles.
• Drive product and process improvements by identifying trends, documenting issues, resolving bugs at code level, and enhancing self-service tools.
• Deliver continuous global support by working in a 24x7 team model, possibly including non-standard hours, shifts and weekends.
• Develop new investigation tools and learn new coding languages to increase diagnostic productivity and improve internal troubleshooting capabilities.
