Job summary

Nexcess is seeking a Sales Engineer II to independently support technical engagements for mid-market clients throughout the customer lifecycle, collaborating with Sales Executives and Account Managers to tailor cloud solutions and demonstrations.

The role involves increasing autonomy, solution architecture support, and contributing to internal enablement, with a focus on delivering tailored demonstrations and guiding customers through complex decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering or related technical role in web hosting/ecommerce.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and the managed hosting stack.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for customer engagements during pre- and post-sales cycles.
• Conduct detailed technical discovery sessions to understand client environments and requirements.
• Design and position cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with customer goals.
