Job summary

Google Public Sector is seeking a highly experienced Customer Engineer specializing in Data Analytics. You will partner with technical sales to differentiate Google Cloud and design data foundation architectures that enable MVPs for highly specialized workloads.

You will solve analytics challenges, help customers adopt complex workloads, and provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve architectures and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Experience with Big Data technologies or concepts (analytics warehousing, data processing, data governance, SQL, Spark, ETL/ELT).
• Experience using programming languages to design demos, prototypes, or workshops for customers.
• Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, streaming and data governance on cloud native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical win for complex data analytics workloads and accelerate adoption.
• Provide functional, customer-tailored solutions and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Offer deep technical consultation and build lasting customer relationships.
• Contribute reusable solutions with the Go-To-Market team.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering to improve architectures and prioritize feature requests.
