Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hardware Engineering Services (HWEngS) is seeking a Cloud Hardware Development Engineer (CHDE) to architect, design, develop, and build next‑generation servers and AWS-specific hardware components. You will lead cross‑functional teams across engineering and operations to deliver scalable, high‑quality server solutions for AWS data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent, or 5+ years of relevant technical position experience.
• 5+ years of experience in server level design for compute, storage, accelerator segment or other complex product design.
• 5+ years’ experience leading ODMs and other suppliers in the product development and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Bring new technology to our server products and scale our fleet.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to deliver new servers with industry-leading performance and quality.
• Lead the integration and delivery of servers and support automated monitoring and failure analysis services.
