Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Cupertino, CA is seeking a seasoned hardware engineer to lead the design and development of server products for AWS data centers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and supply chains to deliver scalable, reliable systems.

You will own specifications, verification, and manufacturing processes, work with ODMs, and drive improvements in performance, quality, and cost. The role demands strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
• Experience in server technologies such as thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity.
• Extensive experience with server design and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutions for complex compute, storage and/or accelerator server designs.
• Own end-to-end system reliability and proactively identify and resolve deficiencies before customer impact.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, manufacturing, supply chain and product management teams.
• Develop and implement diagnostic tools and monitoring for production systems.
• Oversee ODMs and other suppliers in the product development and manufacturing processes.
