Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hardware Engineering Services (HWEngS) seeks Senior CHDEs to architect, design, develop, and build next-generation servers and AWS-specific hardware components. You will integrate hardware/software, define products with service teams, and support Data Center Operations across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent (or 5+ years of relevant technical position experience).
• 5+ years of server level design experience for compute, storage, accelerator segments or other complex product designs.
• 5+ years of experience leading ODMs and other suppliers in product development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
• Experience in board and server root cause analysis and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Bring new technology to our server & products and scale operations for the fleet.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver servers with leading performance and quality.
• Establish strategic vision and drive execution in defining and delivering new products and services.
• Lead integration and delivery of servers and develop automated monitoring and failure analysis services.
• Work with AWS software teams to tailor and operate server solutions for the AWS environment.
