Job summary

Upwind Security in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our field sales engineering team. You will build meaningful customer relationships, translate security needs into tailored technical solutions, and help move deals to close.

In this role you will lead POC engagements, collaborate with product and sales, and relay customer insights to drive secure cloud posture and API security programs across modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales/Solutions Engineer or similar pre-sales role.
• Solid cloud computing knowledge and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Excellent presentation and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in remote teams.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Terraform, Kubernetes and containers experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to tailor technical solutions to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.
