Job summary

Beyond Finance is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to lead a hands-on security team responsible for securing our cloud-native environment and development pipeline. You will guide cloud and application security, DSPM, and SaaS posture management while translating strategy into an engineering roadmap.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and Product, and drive security initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery and risk reduction across the platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on InfoSec experience in Cloud/Application security or DevSecOps.
• Direct people management experience in security or engineering contexts.
• Strong understanding of app security, CI/CD security, secrets management and secure development.
• Ability to translate security strategy into actionable engineering requirements.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services and CSPM/CWPP/DSPM tools.
• Experience with SAST/DAST/SCA and securing CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform, Spacelift).
• Familiarity with securing CRM or business-critical apps.
• Knowledge of identity security for human and non-human identities, including service accounts and API keys.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on configuration of cloud security tooling and architecture reviews.
• Own security program across development lifecycle and cloud environment.
• Lead and develop security engineers, focusing on excellence and ownership.
• Define and deliver security engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Partner with DevOps, Engineering, and Product to embed security into roadmaps.
• Drive security initiatives and remove roadblocks to completion.
