Job summary

Digital Harbor is seeking a highly hands-on Manager of Security Engineering to lead and evolve the security engineering function across our SaaS platform, cloud infrastructure, and internal operations. This role reports to senior leadership and partners with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Legal, and Operations to implement practical security solutions that enable product delivery.

We are not seeking a governance-heavy manager; we want a builder who can influence engineers, implement scalable

Qualifications

• Experience embedding security into product development processes.
• 6-9+ years in Security Engineering or related fields.
• Experience securing SaaS and cloud-native apps.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead security-by-design across the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with engineering to improve application and platform security.
• Embed practical security controls into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Lead threat modeling and architecture security reviews.
• Champion DevSecOps automation and secure engineering practices.
• Establish scalable security controls for IaC and Kubernetes.
• Improve cloud security posture through automation and monitoring.
