Job summary

Target is seeking a Lead Engineer for the Cloud Security team to own the CSPM platform across public and private clouds. You will translate security requirements into automated, developer-friendly controls and drive the day-to-day operation and evolution of the CSPM/CNAPP stack.

You will partner with architecture, product engineering, and security to reduce noise, set SLAs, onboard new accounts, and land pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on technology experience with deep cloud security expertise.
• Experience deploying and operating CSPM/CNAPP platforms at enterprise scale.
• Strong policy tuning, ownership attribution, and incident remediation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for the CSPM/CNAPP platform and standards.
• Own end-to-end engineering, deployment, and operation across multi-cloud.
• Manage platform availability, performance, and on-call readiness with SLOs.
• Develop policy sets end-to-end and drive findings to remediation.
• Collaborate with security, product, and engineering teams to land controls.
