Job summary

This role emphasizes people leadership, roadmap ownership, and collaboration with security and engineering teams to reduce risk while enabling rapid innovation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience leading a security software engineering team.
• Experience securing systems with millions of users.
• Ability to write roadmaps and balance security with business needs.
• Experience building in and securing cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Cloudflare).
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Rust; AI security practices are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape company-wide security strategy with a highly autonomous team.
• Build and operate IAM systems for humans and machines with least privilege.
• Secure software supply chains from development to production.
• Develop secure baselines for cloud infrastructure.
• Manage vulnerabilities to support a high-velocity engineering org.
• Advise on risk assessments, architectures, threat models, and code reviews.
