Job summary

Gordon Food Service seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to define and implement security across cloud infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate with DevOps to automate secure CI/CD and protect our multi-cloud environments."

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in IT with strong knowledge of security concepts, cloud platforms, containers, scripting, and automation tools to safeguard critical systems and support secure software delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of IT experience including software engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering.
Solid understanding of security concepts (SAST, DAST, RBAC, secrets management, CIA triad).
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; familiarity with containerization and cloud networking.

Responsibilities

Drive security processes in cloud environments, including risk management and identity management.
Guide cloud configuration, deployment, and security best practices to teams.
Analyze vulnerabilities and coordinate mitigations to maintain a secure environment.
Develop automated security solutions supporting CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery.
