Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer in Atlanta, GA to define and implement infrastructure and application security best practices in the cloud. The role integrates with DevOps, develops security automation for CI/CD, and guides evaluation of public cloud services to maintain secure environments.

The candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years in IT with cloud, security, and DevOps experience, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of information technology experience (including software engineering, devops and/or system engineering experience)
• Knowledge of security concepts (e.g. SAST, DAST, RBAC, least privilege, secrets management, scanning tools, network security concepts)
• Experience with public cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS and Azure
• Experience with application containerization and container orchestration technologies

Responsibilities

• Drive introduction and adoption of the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) team processes into cloud environments
• Provide cloud configuration and deployment expertise to Gordon Food Service
• Analyze cloud platform vulnerabilities and guide resolution
• Study and implement secure provisioning, configuration and operational aspects of cloud environments
• Write and maintain configuration and deployment solutions (via code) for security-related CI/CD requirements
• Interface with various teams across the organization in day-to-day activities
