Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead threat hunting, detection engineering, and security validation across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role combines platform operations with modern automation techniques to maximize defensive coverage and empower SOC analysts.

You will design secure architectures, maintain SIEM/SOAR ecosystems, mentor analysts, and drive incident response, automation, and AI-assisted workflows within a flexible hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or CCSP preferred.
• Proficiency with enterprise SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and NDR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat hunting program across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures and infrastructure.
• Own incident response activities, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
• Design, build, and tune detections; validate security controls in SIEM/SOAR/EDR.
• Develop IaC/CI/CD pipelines and automation to support SecOps workflows.
• Support AI-driven workflows and Red/Blue team activities.
