Job summary

Gordon Food Service seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to define and implement cloud security best practices, working with DevOps to enable secure CI/CD and automation. You will evaluate cloud services, assist with secure provisioning, and maintain security configurations across on- and off-premise environments.

The role requires 5+ years in IT security, experience with GCP/AWS/Azure, containerization, and strong Unix/Linux skills. Hybrid schedule in MI/GA locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in information technology with security focus.
• Knowledge of security concepts (SAST/DAST, RBAC, least privilege).
• Experience with public cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proficient in Unix/Linux and scripting for automation.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid in-office/remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement cloud security standards in CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead security assessments and coordinate external reviews.
• Provide cloud architecture guidance focusing on security.
• Develop automation tooling to support secure software delivery.
• Maintain secure configuration and deployment solutions (as code).
• Collaborate with DevOps and software engineers across teams.
