Gordon Food Service is hiring a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our technology team at intermediate or senior level. You will build and automate cloud systems, enable CI/CD, and maintain secure platforms while collaborating with application teams.

Senior role leads architectural strategy, capacity planning, and cross-functional tech projects, with on-call rotations and potential weekend support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT, software engineering, DevOps, or system administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Experience with cloud providers and IaC.
• Strong automation, scripting, and CI/CD expertise.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate cloud systems using IaC to provision and scale cloud environments.
• Enable CI/CD by writing and optimizing pipelines for build, test, and deployment.
• Maintain and secure platforms, monitor health, and promote security practices.
• Collaborate with application teams to design cloud-ready architectures and resolve infra challenges.
• Senior level: lead architectural vision, long-term roadmaps, capacity planning, and cross-functional projects.
