Job summary

Pegasystems is seeking a Cloud Operations/Infrastructure Engineer to ensure reliability, performance, and security of our cloud platforms. This role operates on a swing shift (3pm–12am ET) with training hours initially (9am–6pm ET) and requires US citizenship and residency for FedRAMP work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure for SaaS platforms.
• 2+ years hands-on experience operating AWS services (EC2, S3, ELB).
• Experience with Linux administration and networking basics.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, respond to, and resolve infrastructure alerts within SLA.
• Own and drive customer-impacting escalations with emphasis on stability.
• Provision, operate, and upgrade cloud infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and improve runbooks, SOPs, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering on pre-release validation and readiness.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
• Participate in infrastructure projects and on-call rotations.
• Support FedRAMP environments as required.
