Job summary

Inovalon is seeking a Software Development Engineer L3 to contribute to the ScriptMed Cloud Platform within the Pharmacy Business Unit. The role focuses on C#, SQL, and scripting to build scalable systems and automate workflows, while onboarding new customers and aligning business needs with a distributed engineering team.

You will own projects, collaborate with a stateside systems engineer, and ensure compliance with data privacy and HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer or similar role.
Proficiency in C#; primary development language for this role.
SQL knowledge: write, optimize, troubleshoot queries.
Scripting experience for automation and tooling.
Ability to own projects and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile development and test-driven practices.
Experience with distributed or offshore teams is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions within the ScriptMed Cloud Platform.
Support onboarding of new customers and tenant creation; identify automation opportunities.
Translate business and technical requirements into executable work for a distributed team.
Handle client data with data handling, security, and privacy compliance.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver documentation.
Introduce new ideas and best practices to the team.
Adhere to HIPAA and other policies and maintain compliance with governing standards.
Participate in on-call rotations to resolve critical issues within SLAs.
