Job summary

Inovalon is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer L5 to design, build, and optimize scalable analytics and reporting systems. You will help shape architecture, mentor teammates, and deliver high-performance solutions for our clients.

Requires 8+ years in software engineering, strong .NET/C#, Angular/TypeScript, and cloud-native experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. You will collaborate across teams, own complex designs, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading design or architecture of services/systems.
• Proficient in OO languages including .NET/C#, RESTful API development, EF Core mapping.

Responsibilities

• Design distributed, scalable, secure systems from inception.
• Raise engineering bar for scale, resiliency and security through leadership.
• Influence design, architecture and standards for services and solutions.
• Invest and implement best-in-class technologies to expand infrastructure.
• Own design, analysis, testing and optimization of complex systems.
• Mentor teammates and enable successful ramp-up.
• Collaborate across teams and with external customers to refine requirements.
• Adhere to confidentiality, HIPAA and related policies in handling data.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and mission.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical issues outside business hours.
