Qualifications

10+ years building enterprise-grade software and distributed systems.
Backend development with OO or modern languages; Go preferred.
Ability to design scalable, reliable, fault-tolerant systems.
Experience with cloud-native architectures; AWS exposure.
Experience with CI/CD, version control, automated testing.
Strong problem-solving in ambiguous environments.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and evolve scalable full-stack software for reporting, automation, analytics, and predictions.
Lead architectural discussions for distributed data-intensive systems.
Translate complex requirements with product and business stakeholders.
Estimate work, sequence initiatives, and drive delivery to completion.
Apply modern development practices and AI-assisted tooling to improve quality.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, and operations for production readiness.
Ensure secure, observable, and high-performance deployments.
Improve engineering standards and platform maturity.
Mentor engineers through design and code reviews.
Stay current with technologies and industry trends; adopt value-added ideas.
Protect sensitive data and support HIPAA compliance.
