Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services seeks a Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure Engineer to guide customers through cloud journeys, architect secure GCP foundations, and automate provisioning of infrastructure and applications. Work spans migration, modernization, and collaboration with Product teams to drive Google Cloud product excellence.

You will interact with customers to ensure best-in-class cloud solutions, leverage GKE and related cloud-native services, and travel up to 30% for

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, CI/CD with Kubernetes and Linux.
3 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
Experience with Cloud Providers such as Google Cloud Platform.
Willingness to travel up to 30% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

Propose solution architectures and manage deployment of cloud networking solutions.
Design and implement cloud-based technical architectures and migration approaches.
Collaborate with internal teams to package best practices into assets and methodologies.
Interact with sales, partners, and customer stakeholders to manage scope, priorities, and timelines.
Travel up to 30% for in-region meetings and onsite delivery activities.
