Job summary

The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team guides customers through the moments that matter most in their cloud journey. As a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide technical guidance on securing cloud foundations, provisioning infrastructure, and modernizing apps in GCP.

You will help customers architect, migrate, and optimize cloud solutions, collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to drive excellence in Google Cloud products and features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, CI/CD on Kubernetes and Linux.
• 3 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
• Experience coding in Python, Java, Go, or C/C++ including data structures and Linux.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ability to travel 30% of the time for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Propose solution architectures and manage deployment of cloud networking solutions per requirements.
• Design and implement cloud-based architectures and migration approaches to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to package best practices into assets and methodologies.
• Interact with sales, partners, and customer stakeholders to manage scope, risks, and timelines.
• Travel up to 30% for in-region meetings, reviews, and on-site delivery.
