Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services is seeking a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer to guide customers adopting Google Cloud Platform services. You will provide best practices for secure cloud implementations, automated provisioning, and scalable architectures, working with Product and Engineering teams to improve Google Cloud products and customer experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6 years automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, CI/CD with Kubernetes and Linux.
3 years in project management and technical solution delivery.
Experience coding in Python, Java, Go, or C/C++ including data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

Propose solution architectures and deploy cloud networking solutions per client requirements.
Design and implement cloud architectures, migration approaches, and app optimizations with customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to package best practices into methodologies and assets.
Interact with sales, partners, and customer stakeholders to manage scope, priorities, and timelines.
Travel up to 30% for in-region meetings and onsite delivery.
