Job summary

Google is seeking a Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure Engineer (Mid) to drive scalable infrastructure across TPU/GPU workloads in multiple US locations. You will design and implement cloud networking solutions, automate provisioning, and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to accelerate migrations and optimizations.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage project delivery, and travel up to 30% as needed for client engagements, with strong emphasis on Kubernetes, Linux, and GCP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, CI/CD using Kubernetes and Linux-based systems.
• 3 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
• Experience coding in Python, Java, Go, or C/C++ with data structures and algorithms in Linux environments and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ability to travel up to 30% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Propose solution architectures and manage deployment of cloud networking solutions per requirements and best practices.
• Design and implement cloud-based architectures, migration approaches, and optimizations with customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to package best practices into methodologies and assets.
• Interact with sales, partners, and technical stakeholders to manage scope, priorities, deliverables, risks, and timelines.
• Travel up to 30% in-region for meetings, reviews, and onsite delivery.
