Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team guides customers through the moments that matter most in their cloud journey to help businesses thrive. As a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform services, including secure foundations, automated provisioning, and cloud-ready architectures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, CI/CD with Kubernetes and Linux.
3 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

Propose solution architectures and manage cloud networking deployments.
Design cloud-based architectures, migration approaches, and performance improvements with customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to package best practices into methodologies and assets.
Coordinate with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders on scope, priorities, and timelines.
Travel up to 30% for in-region meetings and onsite delivery activities.
