Job summary

State Street is seeking a senior leader to own the cloud platform for our investment accounting SaaS products. You will drive strategy, architecture and end-to-end delivery of Azure/Kubernetes environments, ensuring availability, security and cost efficiency.

You will lead global teams and partner with product, security and risk to align technology with client outcomes. You will set operating models, govern platform health, and mentor senior engineers while shaping a modernization agenda.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience including leadership for cloud platforms.
• Deep Kubernetes, containers and microservice expertise with production platform design.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure deployments, AKS, networking, identity and security.
• Proven leadership of infrastructure delivery, platform modernization and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi-year cloud platform strategy for Investment Accounting, aligned to roadmaps.
• Own infrastructure delivery from design through provisioning, validation and production operation.
• Establish a platform-as-product model with defined services and ownership.
• Lead capacity, performance, scalability and cost planning for Azure environments.
• Govern service-level objectives, indicators, error budgets and health metrics.
• Drive multi-region resilience, disaster recovery, backup and testing.
• Lead major incident responses at the executive level with clear communication.
• Build reusable patterns, automation and continuous improvement across teams.
