Job summary

State Street is seeking an experienced Cloud Native Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise AKS platforms. You will own multi-cluster deployments, lifecycle management, and standardized patterns across dev, non-prod, and prod environments.

You will partner with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure scalable, secure cloud-native solutions. Strong Kubernetes, Azure AKS, Terraform, and GitOps experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud engineering/ platform engineering roles.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, containers, and distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in Azure AKS, with exposure to multi-cloud (AWS/GCP).
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling like ArgoCD, Terraform, Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise-grade AKS platforms across regions.
• Manage multi-cluster deployments with HA and DR strategies.
• Own platform lifecycle management including upgrades and hardening.
• Define standardized AKS patterns across environments.
