Job summary

State Street Global Technology Services seeks a hands-on technology leader with cloud expertise for mission-critical projects. You will drive architecture and delivery across front, middle and back office domains, hands-on in analysis, design and implementation using Java, Python, and cloud-native tools.

You will lead multi-location teams in an agile setting, with deep experience in Python, Azure OpenAI, Snowflake, and modern data platforms. Strong communication and governance are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of application development experience with hands-on architecting and deployment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations.
• Strong experience with Python and cloud-native development for enterprise needs.
• Experience with data platforms, big data tooling, and regulated financial services environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions for front, middle and back office implementations.
• Develop applications using Java, Python, RDBMS, Kafka, and Snowflake.
• Design cloud-native apps with cost, performance, security, and reliability in mind.
• Collaborate with infra teams to deploy and operationalize cloud apps.
• Evaluate technologies and drive POC architecture across teams.
• Work in a multi-location, agile development environment.
