Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster, TX, seeks an Operational Account Manager for LTL Express within Road Transport US. You will manage day-to-day account execution, coordinate with carriers and terminals, negotiate rates, and ensure service performance across the LTL network.

You will work with Operations, Finance, IT, Safety, and Commercial teams to optimize routing, pricing, and service. DOT/FMCSA compliance and strong communication are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the primary operational point of contact for LTL accounts.
• Manage day-to-day LTL shipment execution, including routing, scheduling, consolidation, and coordination with carriers, terminals, and internal operations teams.
• Coordinate with LTL carriers and internal networks to secure capacity and ensure service commitments are met.
• Negotiate LTL rates, tariffs, and accessorial charges to provide competitive and cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor and track shipments from pickup through final delivery, addressing delays, exceptions, OS&D issues, and service disruptions.
