Prophecy Technologies is seeking a Cloud Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our cloud infrastructure. You will lead a team of cloud engineers, SREs, network engineers, and DBAs to deliver scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, cost management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to align cloud operations with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud ops teams in a large-scale environment.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, security, monitoring, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning to align cloud strategy with business goals and migration roadmaps.
• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, SREs, and DBAs.
• Implement IaC practices using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Enforce security compliance and data protection in the cloud.
• Ensure 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analyses.
• Optimize application performance for low latency and high availability.
• Monitor and manage cloud spend to reduce costs.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and drive innovation.
• Identify and address risks in the cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure adherence to GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 and related standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Coordinate with AWS and vendors to leverage new features and SLAs.
