Job summary

The Chamberlain Group LLC is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect/SRE to design and scale secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, automate provisioning with Terraform, and lead a team of SRE professionals. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and collaboration with software, product, and security teams.

Candidates should have 10+ years in SRE/Cloud infra, strong leadership or mentoring experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional experience in SRE, Software Development, or Cloud Infra Architecture.
Leadership or mentorship experience driving team growth and excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field; certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

Architect and build scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch).
Lead IaC design/implementation using Terraform and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Drive GitOps with Argo CD for Kubernetes workloads and continuous delivery.
Build observability platform with Datadog for real-time insights (metrics, logs, traces).
Define and optimize SLIs/SLOs/SLAs; develop runbooks and proactive monitoring.
Collaborate with software engineering, product, and security to embed reliability and security.
Mentor and lead a high-performing SRE/DevOps team; influence capacity planning and cost optimization.
