Job summary

Digital Science seeks a visionary VP Infrastructure Operations to lead cloud strategy and delivery across AWS and GCP, driving scalability, security and operational excellence.

You will manage cross-functional DevOps/SRE teams, oversee vendor relationships and ensure alignment with business goals while maintaining compliance and disaster recovery readiness in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Senior IT infrastructure leader with focus on cloud services and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience delivering scalable, secure cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Proven track record in DevOps, automation and IaC (e.g. Terraform).
• Strong knowledge of security/compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27701).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and optimization of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Define and execute a cloud strategy that enables scalability, cost efficiency and business continuity.
• Lead and mentor DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure teams for high performance.
• Ensure 24/7/365 operational stability, capacity planning, change management and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with Security to ensure compliance and evidence gathering.
• Partner with Development, Product and Business teams to align infrastructure with roadmaps.
• Manage vendor relationships and scout new cloud features to optimize ROI.
• Contribute to budget planning and reporting for infrastructure operations.
