Modernizing Medicine is seeking a Manager, Cloud Engineering to lead a team of SREs in building reliable, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. You will champion SRE best practices, cost optimization, and automation while guiding architectural decisions and CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes leadership, cloud-native design, observability with DataDog, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, secure cloud services.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in Site Reliability or Cloud Engineering, with leadership exposure
• Hands-on AWS experience with observability and cost-management
• Proficiency in Python, Bash and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform/Ansible

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Engineering team to set strategy and priorities for reliability, scalability, and performance
• Develop a cloud infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals and SRE best practices
• Oversee automation, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and cloud-native deployments on AWS
• Drive observability with DataDog and proactive issue resolution
• Ensure security, compliance, and cost-conscious design across services
• Mentor junior teammates and foster a culture of continuous improvement
