Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and improve the global infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will manage Windows servers, Active Directory/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy while supporting hybrid identity, MFA, and security baselines.

You will deploy and troubleshoot virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), handle backup/DR platforms, monitor performance, and contribute to global standardisation and modernisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years on IT support, systems administration, networking, or cloud operations.
• Strong experience with core infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, networking, VMs).
• Experience with patching, monitoring, and configuration-management tools.
• Understanding of backup, replication, and disaster-recovery concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd‑line technical support and incident resolution.
• Maintain on‑prem and cloud server environments (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
• Manage AD/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, OU replication.
• Support hybrid identity, MFA, and Conditional Access baselines.
• Deploy and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Assist with Azure VMs, storage, VNets, and NSGs.
• Administer SAN/NAS storage and backup platforms (Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Azure Backup).
• Develop documentation and participate in DR testing.
