Job summary

Insight Global’s client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, administer, and secure complex cloud and on‑premises infrastructure. You will manage Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, VMware, Windows Server, and DR capabilities, driving modernization and resilience to support scalable enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, and optimization across hybrid environments, with certifications and scripting capabilities strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting systems, cloud, or infrastructure engineering environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft Azure.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity management.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, authentication, and hybrid identity environments.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere and ESXi.
• Experience administering Windows Server.
• Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 certifications.
• VMware certifications.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, secure, and optimize the organization’s cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization efforts to align platforms with business needs and growth.
