Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and enhance global infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. The role covers servers, storage, networking, virtualization, backup/DR, and monitoring to ensure performance, resilience, and security of infrastructure services underpinning business operations.

Qualifications

• Professional IT support experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with core infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, networking, VMs).
• Hands-on with Windows Server/AD/Entra ID and enterprise management platforms.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with backup, replication, and DR concepts.
• Ability to implement changes and document configurations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd-line technical support for the company.
• Maintain on-prem and cloud server environments (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
• Manage AD, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and OU structure.
• Support hybrid identity, MFA, CA, and identity governance baselines.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Perform server builds, OS hardening, patching, and software deployment.
• Support backup and DR functions; contribute to DR testing and documentation.
