Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and improve our global infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will manage servers, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, and monitoring, ensuring stability, resilience, and security for regional and cloud workloads.

You will work under the Regional Infrastructure Manager, contribute to standardisation, and support incidents, changes, and project delivery across sites and datacentres

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in IT support, systems administration, networking, or cloud operations.
• Strong experience with servers, storage, networking, and virtual environments.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, AD/Entra ID, Group Policy, and enterprise management platforms.
• Practical knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V) and Azure cloud.
• Patching, monitoring, and configuration-management tooling experience.
• Understanding of backup, replication, and disaster-recovery concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd-line technical support and incident resolution for global infrastructure.
• Maintain and harden Windows Server, AD/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs; manage lifecycle and patching.
• Administer virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper‑V) and perform server builds.
• Manage Azure resources, ASR, backups, and cloud security posture.
• Support network operations, firewall rules, VLANs, and VPNs as needed.
• Create and maintain infrastructure documentation and diagrams.
