Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Migration Technical Business Development Manager to drive large-scale cloud migration and modernization for US SLG/EDU customers.

You will lead engagements, articulate business outcomes, and partner with field teams to scale migrations with AI-driven modernization. The role combines technical delivery with business development, requiring strong program management, cross-functional collaboration, and a customer-obsessed approach to deliver measurable value

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies.
• 4+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.
• 5 years in customer facing roles leading large scale transformation programs.
• 3 years developing, implementing, managing and executing field programs.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with customer application owners and development teams to determine workload development/transition status, identify blockers, and plan migration and modernization.
• Work backwards from business outcomes, deliver migration and modernization business cases, and support regional teams.
• Identify opportunities to build compelling proposals to achieve business value from migrations, including AI modernization use cases.
• Provide the path forward for customers to build migration plans and business cases and clarify AWS value proposition.
• Collaborate with technical and industry teams to drive consistent outcomes across engagements.
• Build mechanisms to automate and scale migration and modernization across SLG/EDU using AI tools.
• Capture results and periodically present progress to executive leadership.
• Conduct customer briefings and present at events to advance IT transformation thought leadership.
