Job summary

AWS WWPS Migration team seeks a Technical Business Development Manager to drive migrations and modernization for US SLG/EDU customers and partners. You will lead engagements, shape go-to-market motions, and deliver AI modernization use cases that unlock new capabilities on AWS.

You will partner with field teams to craft migration strategies, build business cases, and accelerate customer outcomes, while collaborating across sales, solutions architecture, and professional services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies (Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations).
• 4+ years in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences.
• 5 years in customer facing roles leading large scale transformation programs or extensive customer engagements.
• 3 years developing, implementing, managing and executing field programs.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with customer application owners and development teams to determine workload development/transition status and plan migrations.
• Work backwards from business outcomes, delivering migration and modernization business cases.
• Identify opportunities to build proposals to unlock value from migrations and AI modernization use cases.
• Provide the path forward for migration plans and articulate AWS value propositions to customers.
• Collaborate with technical and industry teams to drive consistent outcomes across engagements.
• Develop mechanisms to automate and scale migration and modernization across verticals using AI tools.
• Capture results and present progress to executive leadership.
