Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Technical Business Development Manager to drive a robust pipeline of prototyping engagements with Pitt AI CIC. You will organize Executive Innovation Visits, coordinating higher education and public sector experts to accelerate cloud and AI adoption, with 10–25% travel.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional or military experience.
• 3+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• 3+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, support, and ensure completion of an active and evolving pipeline of scalable prototyping engagements.
• Take full ownership of the Executive Innovation Visit program and drive impact for higher education executives in accelerating cloud/AI journeys.
• Manage complex stakeholder relationships across AWS, University of Pittsburgh, public sector customers, and student workers for alignment and utilization of the program.
• Track, monitor, and report on program outcomes against targets.
• Support the growing network of AWS-powered Cloud Innovation Centers and Labs as assigned.
