Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Technical Business Development Manager to drive a robust pipeline of technical prototyping engagements with Pitt AI CIC and other partners on the University of Pittsburgh campus.

You will organize executive-focused innovation events to accelerate cloud and AI adoption among higher education and public sector customers. The role requires 6+ years in related fields with strong Go-To-Market, Business Development, and Data/AI experience, plus travel between 10% and 25%.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional or military experience.
• 3+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• 3+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, support, and ensure completion of an active and evolving pipeline of scalable technical prototyping engagements.
• Take full ownership of the Executive Innovation Visit program, driving impact and efficacy for higher education executives and public sector leaders.
• Manage complex stakeholder relationships across AWS, University of Pittsburgh, public sector customers, and student workers to ensure alignment and proper utilization of the program.
• Track, monitor, and report on program outcomes against targets.
• Support the growing network of AWS-powered Cloud Innovation Centers and Labs.
